    All of a sudden I am a shill because I support COX (none / 0) (#9)

who is IMO THE MOST CONSERVATIVE electable gubernatorial candidate in the race?"

That is your sentence, and you are growling at me for doing the same with Benishek v. Allen.

I don't believe there is a prerequisite to have to pay attention to all of the races.  I write what interests me.  And yes, I call you a moderate, and thousands of tea partiers call Allen a RINO.  You can favor Cox, I favor Hoekstra, I have no idea why you believe you must balance my rhetoric on Allen since he is not part of your district.  Allen is my senator, but there are actual conservatives in the race, not the least of which is Dr. Dan Benishek, who I called for an interview the day of Stupak's betrayal, way, way before Stupak quit and Allen decided to rent a home in the First District to try to become my congressional rep.  The country needs conservatism.  Allen is decidedly not one.  I am merely pointing that out.

I, and other writers from the First have noticed a slippery, slimy slope Allen has been on with regards to his acceptance of money for, and then fight for certain causes.  The Mackinac Center points out that his is the most Persistent Targeted Incentives Booster:

Since 2001, Allen has introduced at least 60 bills in this category, many of them thinly disguised favors benefiting specific companies.

You can argue for him, I'll keep pointing out facts.
