I did not at all growl or complain about that type of statement. If I did please point it out to me, I will apologize for my mistake.
And there is a somewhat compelling reason for supporting a strong conservative like Cox.. He actually put his career out there fort a principle.. BEFORE the MCRI was deemed a success. He was right, he stood his ground.
But I would NOT say Hoekstra didn't support the MCRI, because I have yet to find a news article showing a statement by him on MCRI either way from that time..
See how that works?
Also.. Balance.. Hit pieces are hit pieces. you have claimed a couple of things that are completely wrong. But i don't delete comments or articles.. (unless they are spam or do not fit this forum - IE: article on Refrigerators) So I will post corrections through comments or stand alone articles. it matters not at all to me if I am in the district, though as I have pointed out.. might be the case someday.
I agree that Allen has a great deal of "Persistently Targeted Incentives" in his history. I don't like that stuff either. Not one bit. As a state issue, it may or may not be unconstitutional, and I tend to think that may be the case. (I have pushed the argument before) But i would suggest we build a better argument to not do such things, rather than rail on things that are NOT TRUE. Or persistently engage in "who is the biggest baddest conservative" snipes.
I would argue you have more persuasive talent with your writing when you pull a Joe Friday and stick to the facts.
You know.. Maybe I should see if I could get Jason to do an interview. Maybe I can get some face time or a video.. Do you have any suggested questions? does anyone else here?
Short of that, if I can get one, I will likely present some of your posted concerns and issues. (I will quote word for word as best I can)
