the purist ideals you carry require much more than a single endorsement of the Libertarian platform.
They require a hell of a lot more than the minority that Kevin's team held for his time there.
Further, anything he would have gotten through would have been shot down by the failure in the governor's mansion.
Numbers mean things Ed. Without majority numbers NOTHING happens. Unless 'deals' are made. Of course that means looking at compromise.. huh go figure.
As far as US guys who complain about RINOs, we are out there doing the protest thing and holding feet to the fire. Working in the PRIMARIES is the best and only way we have a chance to keep them in line, but losing the primary to the democrats being unacceptable means forsaking the Libertarian third party option. The role the Libertarians best serve is in lobbying and as a caucus of sorts holding EITHER party to principles the Libertarians believe in.
Spinning wheels, pretending 7%-10% (max) is enough to win elections is misguided and reckless.

Even Christine O'Donnell who lost in the general served well to put the exclamation mark on unacceptable candidates.
