Perhaps I was a bit harsh.  I just don't think it does Republicans in general any favors when people like her blur the lines between the two parties.  

Not to mention that I dislike it in principal when politicians put the interests of their district to the top, at the expense of the nation as a whole.  I think that is the case here.  GM would make a few more cars, but at what cost to a nation of taxpayers?  What waste.  No better than porky earmarks in my book.
