    Even if the recall makes the ballot, which is very much in doubt, what will have been gained?  You don't really believe Dillon's constituents, the people who are actually registered to vote in his district, are going to recall him in a November general election, do you?  Dillon will easily win re-election.  Several hundred thousand dollars will have been raised to push these recalls without a single person being recalled from office.  Where did all that money go?  

    For the average Michigan family, this "largest tax increase in history" amounts to about $4/week.  That's less than half of the increase in our cable bills this year and far far less than the increase most of us are paying in gasoline and home heating costs.
