I agree with you about Dobson. I do think that over the years he has done much good for our nation, and even the Church. Sometimes though, and this is one of those times, he isn't helping anyone. What I would rather see is Dr. Dobson deal with the issues rather than what political parties "work."

I have been a Christian most of my life - not always acting like one - but a believer nonetheless. My theology has changed repeatedly as, I believe, I came to understand things more clearly. My politics, however, have only changed very slightly.

From 1980 on I have been a Republican. Loyally voted for Reagan, and Papa Bush. When Dole ran in 1996, I jumped ship and voted for the Constitution Party candidate (Howard Phillip). I did so again in 2000, but found myself rooting for Bush during the recount. That's when I "came home."

In 2004, I voted for Bush. I continued to deny reality until recently, when the Michigan Republicans caved to Granholm. That opened my eyes to the FACT that Bush raised spending faster than Clinton, as did nearly every Republican governor who was in office. In fact, Huckabee, the great "conservative," had one of the worst fiscal records of any Republican governor.

I am now a member of the Libertarian Party. I certainly don't agree with their war stance. I believe in defending our nation and its borders. I do however believe the basic principles of Libertarianism, and even Ayn Rand's Objectivism - while disagreeing whole-heartedly with her atheism.

If Christians would truly figure out what the bible says about liberty, they might vote as I am. Rather than imposing their morality through law, they would share the love of Christ through deed and word.

When Dobson shares that love, he does well. He has shared that a lot over the years. For that I honor him.

Although I can myself a Republican.  I stand more for conservituive thinking.  Fiscal, defence, social, and moral.  Although I dod not wish to force anyone to do anything,(the Lord did not stop Adam & Eve from eating the fruit), I MUST DEFFEND LIFE.  i THINK IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO , "DOES SOMEONE BELIEVE IN KILLING LIFE".

THANKS SO MORE FOR ALL OF YOU FOR BEING INVOLVED!
