Who are the NERD fund donors Mr Snyder?

    Raise the curtain.

    Shut Up Brooks.

And Nancy, you want a fight? You may have it.

There is no way your campaign will get an ounce of help from real conservatives before or after the primary, if you pursue the unnecessary path of a write-in campaign.  Especially when there is a candidate on the ballot who not only meets the standards of being a Republican, but also has followed the rules, played the game appropriately, and was willing to live with the results of the contest prior to the fraud perpetrated by McCotter's bumbling help.

It frankly demonstrates WHY its a good idea to have a primary EVERY time.  At least we HAVE someone there.

But a write in campaign?  Now this is getting into stupid season.

First its Rocky, who courted the Tea Party, was backed by the TPX, had OUR support, but showed his true BLUE colors in dissing the ONE guy who played the game right.  Never again Rocky.  You FIGHT the Tea folks next time.

Then its Saul and company, acting all comfy with tea folk until it didn't select one of his hand picked favorites, and he uses the machinery of the MiGOP to steal a delegate when completely unnecessary.  We know how THAT landed.

Now Nancy, you want to test your will?  You should have at least been there from the start.  YOU should have filed when the others did.  But you didn't, and you believe that fading fast RINO Patterson?  Do you REALLY think you have a chance? Really?

    Lets talk more below. ~

There is only one way it can happen Nancy.  Money, more money, and maybe even a small army of people educating people how to spell your name right.  It will be the kind of money and organization that if successful, can only say one thing:

You will be owned by SOMEONE.

I have been checking.  Even with your presenting that NASTY MBT into the system, your political career up this point has been one of opposition to corporate welfare, and respectable to those like myself that dislike the MEDC, Film credits, or other political patronage. Its troubling that you see so much of a difference between your views and the man Bentivolio, that you are willing to pursue an unlikely and costly path that pits yourself against those who would be naturally inclined to support you.

What is it that is so different, that would make you belittle the man who now will be the ONLY Republican printed on the primary ballot, with a snobbish suggestion that it "happened by accident"?

    Have you talked with him?

    Have you read this?:

I have always been a good Republican and voted accordingly including for McC the last four times. I will also support the republican presidential nominee.

I have been in contact with Justin Amash, Demint and a few others and trust they will act as my mentors. As a soldier I always did my best to lead by example for the younger soldiers advising them that character is doing the right thing when no one is watching. SelfLESS service, duty, honor, and respect for others is something I taught my children and it must be in your heart, not simple phrases.

I take great pride in being a Republican and my hope someday is that we welcome all those who lost their way with open arms and continued enlightenment. Our country is on the brink and we must unite to save her. My good fortune will be shared and we must work together in a team effort.

Two weeks ago my campaign was seen as having a hope and prayer of winning. There is now more hope and our prayers have been answered. I welcome the support of the Liberty folks, the Tea Party and my own Party, the GOP. Let there be a lesson in the saying, "my enemy's enemy is my best friend." Together we will defeat Obama and his socialist agenda. Nothing else matters.

If the good people of the 11th decide to keep me on for awhile I will come home in six years. No more. I have no intention of becoming a career politician. Very simply, like you, I want my country back, I fought for her and I want her back. Together we can turn this ship around before she smashes against the rocky shore. I hope to see you at the Memorial Day parade where I will walk with my fellow veterans in rememberance of those who gave all so we can live free. May the light of freedom forever warm and shine brightly on our great country. God bless us all.

Probably not, Brooks wouldn't let you if you are playing HIS game.
Bentivolio has played by the rules, has been loyal to the party, supported the candidates, and because he has a more constitutional mind than the Oakland County exec, he freaks ol Brooks out, and you allow yourself to be talked into running against him?

Think long and hard before you commit any resources of your own to this.

And think long and hard what you will owe someone.

And consider very carefully, that given your righteous voting history who's side you wish to be on when it is all said and done.  Do you want to saddle up to the old guard which has allowed the MEDC, THE MEGA, High Deficits, Corporate cronyism, and corruption?

Or are you ready for the new GOP that actually will live up to the standards expressed in both its platforms and the new blood revitalizing it?

And maybe we won't at some point have the conversation about the MBT that was SO BAD it had to be shoveled away last year by a cleanup legislature like the manure it was.

But we're listening to you Nancy.

Brooks has had his say for a little too long.

    Its your turn.

    ...for a $174k/year gig.

Must be the enticement of the $1M+ a year office budget for Nancy, and the expanded connections for Victor that's the attraction.

The article states that Cassis has kept the purchase of the land under-wraps until a few weeks ago when he announced he would be stepping down from the Novi Planning Commission, which he served on for 10 years, in order to focus on the development.

    Just sayin'

Here's an idea for the MiGOP... (none / 0) (#2)

Listen, I don't know the nuts and bolts of how this shit works. Hell, my cousin knows more about this stuff than I do.

But for Christ's sake, would it be possible to have a rule for the MiGOP to keep the hell out of primaries?
