Tragic news for conservatives and those who follow biggovernment.com etc.

Andrew Breitbart has passed away of unknown causes.  Recently Breitbart announced he was in possession of videos of Barack Obama in college, and has broken news resulting in the resignation of hard left Democrat Anthony Weiner.

A couple of months ago, we hosted him in Traverse City, Michigan for an AFP event, and I was fortunate to spend some time with him on a Michael Moore hunt downtown.

His wit, candor, and value to our community will be missed.

    Terribly.

Our prayers go to his family as we grieve for their loss as well.

I too was shocked to hear about this in my A.M. news scan.

You were fortunate to have met him, J.

    A Great Patriot (none / 0) (#4)

Thank you to AFP and those in Traverse City who brought Andrew here recently!  It was an absolute pleasure to meet him, hear him speak, and get an autographed copy of Righteous Indignation.  We have lost such a great patriot!

    Andrew Joins Aaron Russo (5.00 / 1) (#5)

Dare I say it: Yet another mysterious young death of a patriot who exposed government corruption. Like Aaron Russo, Andrew Breitbart was fearless in the face of such corruption. This should inspire and ignite the same in us. Never back down. Never surrender. For every one that falls, 100, nay even 1,000 should take his place.

for conservatives.  I thoroughly enjoyed visiting his sites and reading his blogs.  Such an inspiration in the dirty and misleading realm of liberal bias.  He was shining the light and the cockroaches were scrambling.

I am shocked, stunned and saddened by his passing.  Prayers and hugs go out to his family, friends and followers.

May the arms of our Lord comfort Andrew and his family.  RIP Andrew.

What a tireless and fearless patriot Andrew Breitbart was.

I never met the man but was often comforted by simply knowing that he was on my side.

He is one of the few conservative voices that might be almost irreplaceable. His influence will be missed by millions.

Lots of chatter about foul play, but that's it for now... chatter.  Odd that Whitney Houston's cause of death will take weeks for extensive testing, but Andrew's death was immediately deemed "natural causes."  She was 5 years older and a chronic drug users; Andrew was in apparent good health.

One can only hope that the video he claimed to have about Obama's college years is in good hands and will surface shortly to seal Andrew's legacy.

Jason, I'm sure you are grateful for the opportunity to meet and talk with Andrew.
