    Raise the curtain.

Really? You had to wait until the very last minute?

    Hey, Gang!

Guess which RINO just threw her support for another tax hike here in good old Macomb County?

I'll give you three chances, but you'll only need one.

    So who is it?

    {Continued after the fold}

Okay, I won't be mean. I'll give everyone some hints.

    So who is it?

If you said Candice "Candi" Miller? Give brainiac the fluffy doll!

Yes, good ole Candi is at it again.

This time throwing her support behind a minimally promoted tax hike put forth by Macomb College to fund a "Facilities and Technology Bond".

Two things that really burned me up after reading this:

"If approved, the first sale of the bonds will cost the average homeowner in Macomb County less than $9 per year."

    So, the old "It-will-cost-you-only-$X"-argument.

Look, if it's so darn cheep, just tell the rest of the county where we can send our tax bill? I'm sure that you won't even notice it, Representative.

    But, this takes the cake:

"I appreciate this is a difficult time for many Macomb County families, which is why I would not support this effort if it were not for the belief that this investment will benefit all residents."

Ummmm, no. It won't benefit ALL residents.

That sounds suspiciously like the "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need" philosophy.

Here in Real-land, it will only benefit those attending Macomb, and are able to find employment in their area of study.

Why make the college board jump through those hoops of making tough decisions like, say, prioritizing spending or looking for alternative sources of income (hmmmmm, like a tuition hike/surcharge)?

    Naaaaahhhh!

Just tuck it onto the end of a huge bedsheet ballot tomorrow, keep your mouth shut, and hope that everyone ignores it while they go through the ballot.

    Thanks a lot Congresswoman!

call the local $100 million bond package (includes tens of millions in slush, and a $26 million performing arts complex) a "Conservative" plan.

Does the asserted 25% of the time flapdoodle still pass the stink test for MI-GOP movers and shakers?
