Given the number of elected and party officials who pop-in here to let us know they still exist, doesn't anyone find it strange (to say the least), that not one person from either the MI-GOP or the Governor's Office has taken the time to come here and state their arguments in support of this plan (DRIC/NITC/Gordie Howe Bridge).

This project will need support from the Legislature in order to get implemented.

Instead of hashing something out in a smoke-filled back room up in Mackinac away from the spotlight, they would better engender public support by being a little more honest and upfront about why they feel this is so important.

If they can't (won't) do at least that much, how do they intend to go about campaigning for re-election?

Many of us here are active politically (i.e. poll workers, petitions, campaign volunteers) and are socially connected through Tea Parties and 9/12 Projects.

I certainly hope that they aren't naive enough to feel that they'll just ease into re-election on a party label alone?

. . . backchannel discussions within various organizations of the Michigan Tea Party Alliance (specifically within the TPWM network).

While most of them are not inclined to support recalling GoverNerd Snyder right now, this bridge boondoggle being signed into law will change their minds.

    Not sayin', just sayin'.
