Here's a cheerful dose of John Conyers Santuary City Detroit reality to get our Monday morning rolling.  From detnews.com

Detroit -- More than two decades ago, Celina Hernandez gave birth to a daughter in her native Mexico. But the newborn died hours later because she was three months' premature and her family couldn't afford the incubator she needed to survive.

About five years later, Hernandez gave birth to twin boys, including one with cerebral palsy. This time, her children were born in the United States, and her one son received the care he needed for his disability.

Oh, it gets soooooooo much better.  Below the fold we go...

Now, for the rest of the gatecrasher family story.

She came to the United States with her husband in 1991 to seek better health care. Last year, the Southgate woman's husband was deported. This month, she was due to be forced out as well before U.S. Rep. John Conyers, D-Detroit, introduced a rare bill on her behalf that has suspended deportation proceedings.

Holy crap!  They hid out for 19 years squirting out kids and mooching off the healthcare system teat before even one of them was booted out for being illegal aliens?  WTF!  And, Communist Conyers brings forth a bill to protect lawbreaking gatecrashers?  Double WTF!

The bill comes amid national debate about immigration reform for the nation's 10.5 million undocumented residents. Supporters say her case demonstrates that the system is broken. But foes counter the law is clear, Hernandez broke it, and Conyers' bill is inappropriate.

Inappropriate?  Absolutely right.  Conyers swore an Oath of Office to protect and defend our laws and our nation.

"Here we have a family that's working really hard, paying taxes, contributing the community," said Ryan Bates, director of the Alliance for Michigan Immigrants and Reform.

Oh, bullsh!t.  They are no harder working than any others in this nation that pay their taxes and aren't illegals.  That "family that's working really hard" didn't even attempt their first task as honorable immigrants of entering America legally.  Hard workers my ass.

"The immigration laws we have don't make allowance for their children, and the contributions that they've made. A congressman shouldn't have to intervene to make sure that children with cerebral palsy are able to stay with their parents. What we need is Congress to address this issue in a serious way and begin the process for comprehensive immigration reform."

More bleeding-heart Liberal the "system is broken" nonsense trumpeted for the barrio.  Where the system is truly broken is that the Dimocrat Party since The Floater pushed through his Hart-Cellar Act of 1964 creating a bait-pile for anchor babies and a never ending chain of family cling-on immigrants.

William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration, said bills written for individuals are "political propaganda" designed to influence the debate about immigration.

"It's anti-American. In America, the rule of law says we are all treated equally," said Gheen, whose Raleigh, N.C.-based group is fighting amnesty for illegal immigrants.

"For Congress to selectively make a case for someone gives the appearance that some people have special friends in Congress and can have laws changed for them specifically."

But of course, that's how Dimocrat Party voters are recruited.  They vote in their own gummint entitlements.  What better way is there for the Dimocrats to expand their base than amnesty.

Conyers' bill delayed Hernandez's deportation that was to be this month and would make Hernandez eligible for an immigrant visa. The private bill was referred to a subcommittee and died when Congress ended its session. When Congress reconvenes Jan. 5, Conyers plans to reintroduce it. But attention caused by the bill, along with pressure from the community, led to Hernandez last week getting a one-year extension from immigration officials.

Didja catch that.  The Mexican community pressured and won an extension.  They don't give a rats ass about our laws here the same they don't in any other state.  Their Mexican nationality supersedes our Constitutional law.  House Republican leadership had better not check their spines at the door with their coats on this issue or it'll be the shortest control of the House they've ever seen.

Either way, Conyers' bill is offering hope that Hernandez's 18-year-old son, Adrian, will continue to get treatment for cerebral palsy, a disorder affecting the brain and nervous system with very difficult to find and expensive treatments in Mexico.

"Without the treatments, I don't think I could do anything," said Adrian Hernandez, a Southgate High School student who gets physical therapy two days a week and takes pain medication for his back and ankle. "Without treatments, I can't go to school."

Yep, yet another documented story of American citizen taxpayers on the hook for illegals mooching on the healthcare and education system.

Now, here for the real kick-in-the-ass...

"I'm very happy because it's Christmas time," Hernandez, 40, said in Spanish through an interpreter, the Rev. Kevin Casillas, pastor of the First Latin American Baptist Church in Detroit. "I was very worried I was going to have to leave for Christmas and my children were not going to be with me."

Ain't that a b!tch?  A 40-year-old Mexican mother of 5 living here for over 19 years, and still hasn't learned one goddamn lick of basic English for her press interview.  Must be because illegals, as well as lazy legals enjoy the redundancy publication cost of gummint forms to state taxpayers.

And, why have the following businesses that aided the Hernandez family to break our laws been prosecuted?

During the 20 years that she has lived here, she and her husband have always worked and paid taxes, and only recently began relying on Social Security to help with her son's care. Her husband had worked for an auto manufacturer while she worked for Mexican Industries, sewing car mats and tire covers.

Really?  Which auto manufacturer was employing an illegal?  I know that 20+ years ago when I hired into Ford Motor, I had to show birth certificate/citizenship and my SS#.  By the way...Mexican Industries Detroit plant went teats-up in 2001 when the Latinos tried to force the UAW on them, prolly because the illegals were undercutting the legal Mexicans.  Mmmmmnnnnyah,  those hard workin' folk like Celina Hernandez and her deported hubby.

Bottom line.  If they truly cared about their children, they wouldn't jeopardize their families by their very first action of entering our nation illegally.

I've already put in my $0.02 on what I think of Conyers and his ilk. So there isn't anything really new that I can add here relating to him.

But what is interesting, is this clip shot at a May Day parade in S.W. Detroit not too long ago.

Yes, you heard correctly. I said May Day Parade, right here in the U.S. of A.

Wow, that's a lot of Mexican Flags that I see being waved about. So much for them adhering to our flag etiquette when they display their flag over ours.

Remember when immigrants assimilated into this country, instead of expecting the country to change to accommodate them?

CS, don't expect the illegal alien problem to go away any time soon.

When you have stories like this, and this go untouched (when you practically walk right on up to the feds, say you are here illegally and nothing happens), you will know what will continue to happen in the foreseeable future.

The republicans won't touch it because of all the cheap labor it brings in and the democrats won't touch it because of the voters it brings in.

There's bipartisanship in action for you.

...the incoming Senate and House Republicans are welcomed to take the approach of business as usual and do not a thing about securing our border along Mexico while the Mexicans build a wall along their border with Guatemala.  However, ignoring the illegals invading our soil and draining our entitlement system while not funding our border wall with Mexico will come with consequences for the GOP.  My hope is that the new Weeper of the House hailing from the Great State of Ohio understands this.

Americans all across this nation have had enough of the parasites sneaking in from the barrio demanding their language, culture and nationality accommodations here in the U.S. of A.

Folks like former Federal Prosecutor Doug Burns, can quite frankly, blow it out their collective ass.  Right is right and wrong is wrong, but a populous sitting around twiddling its thumbs waiting for the jackboots of gummint to correct a wrong only guarantees employment for more taxpayer subsidized bureaucrats like Doug Burns.  A good old fashioned patriotic American slapdown like what Jim Broussard performed is much more cost effective and has way more impact.

More recently, the barrio fist pumpers deemed our American Flag on a 13-year-olds bike racist...

...and the barrio brotherhood and LibTarded, compassionate, sit-down to take a leak, Mexican race accommodating tools were rightfully slapped down by many, many more patriotic American citizens and veterans...

    ...only after this happened...

...that I will always proudly stand by and support anyway I can.  When the can of whoop-ass was opened by the Mexicans that are soooooo offended by our American Flag and the LibTards that chose the Mexicans side finally came to a reality... the Mexicans and LibTards blinked, then buckled and caved as they always do.  Right triumphed the day and the screechy minority of American hating whines were again silenced.

It isn't the end of the whoop-ass that was witnessed, it is merely the beginning...
