Fact Check Proves; Joe Was Right! Obama "Lied"

    Hello All,

Let me be very clear, I do not in any way support Joe Wilson's outburst.  We are not British!  We do not yell out of emotion at the leader of our nation during a session of Congress, PERIOD!

However, his point, however ill timed, was correct.  Both the All Barack Channel (ABC), and the Citizens for Barack Station (CBS) have put the Facts on the table. From the fact check desk of Jake Tapper:"Illegal Immigrants and Health Care Reform", and "Does Joe Wilson Have A Case On Health Care, Illegal Aliens?"

Both assert that although there is nothing in the health bill giving anything to illiegals, it also does not restrict what they already have.  It also provides more funds to Medicaid, which pays for illiegals to go to the emergency room.   Not to mention some illiegals will be taxed by the "Non-Insurance Fee".

Point and Blank, illiegals should not be allowed to conduct any business within the US.  They should not be allowed to own a house, rent an apartment, open a bank account, get a license, or even buy a McDonalds hamburger.  I am not against them receiving emergency medical care (For Real Emergencies Only, as par the 5th & 14th Amendments of the Constitution), but once they are well enough they should be deported.

It is not fair to U.S. citizens and especially Legal Immigrants as well as those attempting to both enter this country legally and become U.S. citizens that almost nothing is being done to solve the illiegals issue.

Well, we should not act like the British, I definitely agree with you there, but this is far from unprecedented.  Funny, Dems don't get nearly as upset when a Republican is delivering the speech and there is booing.

One thing in Wilson's favor is the fact that he angrily shouted the truth.  The truth should still count for something.

Why do some continue to feed the beast and co-enable misplaced guilt.

Though this is a well written article, there's no excuse for apologizing for someone who has done nothing wrong and has acted in a way we have been longing.

This is a clear case of damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Oh the derogatory names that are called out against those public servants who refuse to speak out or stand up for We The People. Ohhh the derogatory names flung at those who dare rock the boat by speaking out. How dare they subject us to any number of accusations of protest! Oh why won't our Reps represent us! How dare our Reps boldly speak out what we wish to speak out ourselves. What the...

Why, in the name of every word in the Constitution and every word we utter claiming our desire for someone with the gonads to represent us with truth, would there be a need to "be very clear" and "I do not in any way support Joe Wilson's outburst" as if scared of the great accusers of Astroturf Dynasty...those Socialist schemers whose tactics we claim to resent.

I am absolutely appreciative of Congressman Wilson! I hope and pray that the spirit of his moral character can be born anew in each of us. I hope we will raise our sons and daughters to be so inclined and in so doing, raise up those who are fit for service.

God bless Congressman Joe Wilson and God bless America!

Don't get me wrong I praise God for Joe.

I just feel that we as Americans should hold ourselves to a higher standard during Government procedings.  I have seen some of the Parliment Tapes, they look like children.

At no time did the freedom of speach ever mean speak your peice at any time.

I don't agree with the outburst weather it was done by the right or by those during the Bush years on the left.

Thanks for the comments, and for being involved, Many Blessing Shane

    Joe Wilson's apology... (none / 0) (#5)

... shows once again how we as conservatives blow it.  Instead, he should have held a press conference and... demanded that President Obama apologize for lying to and misleading the American people on health care reform.

"Never apologize -- rather, demand an apology from the opposition."

Declaration of "We The People" (none / 0) (#7)

I am the first one to agree with the Declaration of Independence".  How ever it will take "We The People to "Alter, Abolish, or Institute" change.  The tea parties are a very good start, and the town halls are even better.  But we will see how much of that motivation still exists come 2010 & 2012.

See right now this ObamaCare and Tax & Spend is directly affecting the people today.  But when the bills running through Congress stop having direct affect on the people, the people will go back to being silent.  Then 20 years from now when the full effect of a bill takes it course we will all be standing there wondering "How Did That Happen".

Most of the issues we face in the US today are because the Government "Runs Free" and most of "We The People" "Run Silent".  The Constitution only works when everyone gets involved.

Thanks for all the comments, Shane (Hangmann747)
