Health Care Rallies Shaping Up- 10th Ammendment with Teeth

Politicians love to stand beside 10th amendment resolutions declaring state sovereignty and smile, especially if the resolutions don't cost them anything politically. But there are a few resolutions floating around Lansing that have risen to the surface as having real potential for Michigan Tea Party Patriots to rally behind. These could have a significant impact on the future of our state. The time has come for State action in the health care debate.

Common Sense in Government is working with the great Tea Party groups around the state to plan rallies to educate people about these resolutions and how a Michigan constitutional amendment could protect us from the draconian federal health care plan. We need our State Legislators to step up and stand with We the People.

There are a few different resolutions floating through the Michigan Legislature. The best of these are SJR K and HJR Z. Both of these resolutions have real teeth and would give Michigan citizens a voice in the health care debate.

Many of us have been focusing on trying to change the minds of those in Washington. With an obscene reelection rate and politically elite attitude, it has been impossible to change the minds of those debating this issue in DC. Now we can focus on fighting it on the home front. Our state can say NO to this over reach of the Federal government.

This is a key issue for most Tea Party Patriots and the time for state action has come. Let's rally behind these resolutions and call on our State Legislators to do their job by standing up to Washington.

We have speakers ready to come talk about these resolutions and are planning rallies now. The first rally will be on January 12th in Oakland County. If you would like to help plan a rally, please let me know! Together, we can save our state.
