(Updated by Nick... you can check out the Detroit News coverage too. The seated and serving Democratic Mayor of the largest city in Michigan is going to jail. Kudos to all of our friends on the left who still won't demand a resignation, especially the Granholm / Cherry administration that refuses to lift a finger. The Democratic Party in Michigan has always been full of characters... the last couple year's they've gotten downright scary.)

Judge Giles, in a ruling where he took "Joe Six-Pack" into consideration as to dealing with Mayor "I did not have textural relations" Kilpatrick, has ruled that Kwame is going to jail. He is not passing GO and he's not collecting $200. In fact, his bond has been revoked and there was no stay. His attorney is, of course, appealing.

The coverage on WXYZ is wall to wall.

Outside the Macomb County Community College campus, there were signs of support for Kwame...one guy with a "Free Kwame" sign...it was pretty funny.

I think Kwame needs a new legal team. When Judge Giles wanted to know why it was so urgent that Kwame go to Canada in violation of court instructions, Giles was saying "Who's dying, who's sick?"...Kwame way over paid lawyer responded "the City of Detroit". I am sure that Kwame as he tries to sleep tonight will just hear those words over and over and over...

Everyone knows that the Governor is moving forward with actions that will likely lead to Kilpatrick's removal from office. But it's easier for you to just flat-out lie, isn't it?
