We upped the goal to $1,000 and that was equally reachable so then came goal number three, $1,250.

Michigan's conservative blogosphere blew past that one too.  Budgets are tight.  The economy is down (and don't we know it).  Taxes are going up.  Disposable income is dwindling but that didn't stop the pledges from rolling in.  Ten dollars here, eight dollars there.  A new twenty spot pledged in the email box just about every time I checked. I am thrilled to announce that the Right Roots dug deep and pledge $1,436!  

A big thanks to everyone who's put their money where their hearts are.  I can't say it enough, Alpha does remarkable, commendable work assisting mothers who face an unplanned pregnancy. They provide free pregnancy testing and counseling, abortion alternative counseling, post abortion counseling, referrals for adoption and medical services, they help women secure housing, provide prenatal and post-natal parenting classes and make sexual integrity presentations for schools and youth groups.

And they'll be able to serve women and their unborn children for another year thanks in part to your generosity.  If you haven't made a pledge already, it's not too late.  I'm on the way to the ride sight as soon as I click submit but the need doesn't end today.
