Here's something to make you think.

Only a few hours before the Civil Service Commission met on Friday, Jennifer Granholm appointed two new commissioners to the board.

Andrew Abood, an attorney in the Lansing area, and Mac Wardrop were the new appointees. They voted in favor of the waiver, and the other two commissioners voted against - hence, the deadlock.

Interestingly enough, commissioner F. Thomas Lewand recently "resigned" from his post. His term wasn't due to expire until 2012.

Me thinks something is a bit stinky here, however, Aunt Jenny's plan seemed to have backfired. It doesn't matter now, anyway, because she just did what she wanted to.
