More Evidence that Granholm's plan to "invest" is wrong for Michigan
BLS metropolitan unemployment data from February 2007 was just released. So what do we find?
8 of the top 10 employment areas are in right-to-work states (predominantly Utah and Louisiana, which are also low-tax states). 9 of the bottom 10 employment area are in non-right-to-work states. Mostly in California, which has the 9th highest tax burden in the country. Still think we need to "invest" governor? BTW Flint was the 9th lowest metro-area with an abysmal 9.4% unemployment rate. Our best area was Ann Arbor with a 4.7% jobless rate.
