Where shall we begin?

Oh yes - the campaign pledge and the promise from her since she first arrived on the Michigan political scene that she will protect "the least of these among us" (her favorite Bible verse).  

Really, Governor?  Really?

So you are protecting the least among us by increasing a sales tax on services by 2 percent.  Nicely done.  I'm sure Michigan's middle class families struggling to make ends meet each moth will appreciate having to pay addition fees when they get their hair cut.  

And Governor, are you protecting the least among us by continuing to drag Michigan into a place of irrelevance.  Forget about doing something logical like eliminate the personal property tax businesses pay (as Chrysler announces significant job cuts in Michigan; and Pfizer announces job cuts and the list goes on and on) or actually listen to the job providers in our state - and residents - who have called for the elimination of the single business tax.

Note to governor:  a dollar for dollar replacement is not a tax cut.

Residents haven't felt any love for the governor for quite some time.  Her love is condition, and only comes when she wants something from us like a vote to save her precious reputation or our support for tax increases.
