Consultants need to lead by example with their own campaigns. When I see campaign expenditures of over $2600 total in AIRFARE for a STATE REP race, along with DC hotel rooms, I question that consultant's ability. I made sure my relatives in his old state rep district know who not to vote for. There's a reason Lennox's results looked like this.
State Rep, Primary 105th District (2010)
Anderson 5.28% 868 votes
Boyko 15.15% 2491
Cole 27.48% 4519
Glasser 15.00% 2467
Lennox 7.00% 1151
McMaster 30.09% 4947
I can get 1151 votes for state rep in a primary in my sleep if I ran during a gubernatorial year even spending waiver wire money instead of what he did. What he spent is also God knows what, because he has campaign finance issues that he needs to take care of.
Dennis the Menace's Reports
He owes over $1000 for a late filing fee. 20 days past due. It went to "hearing". That's not good.
His reports are clearly fubarred, which I can tell from one look at them.
And we're supposed to listen to this "consultant" because he got lucky in a run for drain commissioner against an incumbent democrat due to straight ticket voting in a Republican leaning county.
