...this calls for the 3rd new word for 2011.  We've already had the first word, Bifarceisan, and JoeBlog came up with GoverNerd.  So...

    Bolgergiest

    bol-ger-giest |ˈbōlgərˌgīst|
    noun
an apparition Republican or wraith principled Republican Speaker of Michigan's House supposedly accountable for fiscal responsibility such as proper roll of government and promoting individuals ability to keep more of the money they earn.

ORIGIN indistinguishable Democrat National Party: from RINO Bolgergeist, from bolger 'leadership' + Geist 'ghost.'

    Simply amazing.

Ari Adler, a spokesman for Speaker Jase Bolger, R-Mashall, said House GOP leadership supported the bills because the near term consequences from the lost revenue would be too severe for the economically troubled city.

Yep, same tired old bullsh!t cop-out excuse that's been played since the '67 riots.

"We recognize that Michigan's future and Detroit's future are tied together," Adler said, "But over the long term we have to look at the expense side as well."

Sure sounds like RINOs propping up a taxpayer responsible boondoggle gummint bridge to me.

"Detroit lost a lot of its population. What has been done to rein in the size of government?"

Quick answer is not a gottdamned thing other than the appearance of reining in so not to be labeled raaaaaay-ceeeeeest.

Same reason why this state will still be suckling hind teat without Right-to-Work.

    Thanks cowardly Majority Lansing asshats.
