    friends who are police officers and fireman and I find it so disturbing that they would condone this action.  They have never indicated to me personally that they would support this, however, I guess I will have to ask them and see what they think.  If they support it then they have lost a friend and I would openly oppose them for the wages and benefits that I thought they deserved at one time.

    To put politics above safety for the very job we pay them to do... they should be fired immediately.  There are lots of unemployed people out there who could do the job and leave the politics out of it.
