    ...according to Councilman Brown during his interview this am, one of the demands of the Occupy Detroit Crowd before they got their one-week extension prior to being forceably removed by DPD from Grand Circus Park was to march in the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

    Yes, you heard me correctly.

    The people who are against banks, want to march in a parade whose major sponsor is Fifth Third Bank.

    I can't make this stuff up even if I tried.

    According to a spokesman from The Parade Company contacted right after the interview (like 5-minutes later), that was the first that they had heard of their request.

    So hopefully, we won't be seeing a bunch of discombobulated, disheveled and distressing-looking progressive protestors disrupting this year's parade.
