    I love the Detroit Zoo (none / 0) (#1)

    The last time I was there the lady who took my money at the gate was very rude.  It was late afternoon and the zoo was closing soon and maybe she had a hot date a couple hours later.  

    While there I saw many fences and hills behind which, I was assured by the signage, were the animals I'd paid too much money to see.

    I cannot wait to see the DIA and the DSO begin to likewise reap the bounty of taxpayer millage.  Maybe they can display their paintings and play their symphonies behind opaque soundproof walls; you know, for the sake of consistency.
