    but upkeep and maintenance is paid by taxpayers. Why do you (and others) feel so strongly that a governor must have multiple mansions? How many people benefit from the Mackinac second mansion? It is kinda weird. Is it a bragging point for MI citizens that our governor has twice as many palaces as any other governor?

    I can understand it when liberals defend welfare and social spending and taxes for infrastructure, services, etc. But the defense of multiple mansions for the government class is puzzling...
