    The folks you'd normally consider "party bosses," MDP Chairman Mao Brewer and MRP Chair Saul Anuzis are in agreement on this issue and are backing the Senate legislation.

    The top Republican in the legislature, Senate Majority Leader Mike Bishop is also backing the move.

    It's the top Democrat in the legislature, Andy Dillon and Governor Granholm who are silent to this point.
