Get a load of the entitlement mentality on these two cake eaters.

"...so people should feel comfortable with that."

AYFKM?  No, you slippery crony capitalist big government Progressive.  You work for me Nerd-boy, and I trust your smarmy, perpetual stealth-mode Ann Arborness as far as I can throw my house over your boondoggle DRIC bridge.

And, dig the chops on the retained mouthpiece.

"I pay my travel out of pocket every week, I pay my parking, I don't expense mileage. It's cost me tens of thousands of dollars, personally," said Kevyn Orr.

Hey, stupid, for starters Kevyn, you already got caught in a lie.  Not a smart Bankruptcy shyster.  Kevyn accepted the job (with extravagant perks), and please do tell us what other forms of employment covers the tab for any out of state residency?  It didn't fly at Ford Motor when Channel 7's Steve Wilson exposed Mark Fields weekly trips home to Florida, to avoid Michigan's Income Tax.  The Governerd likes to play government is a business, well, the Public Sector don't dig that sh!t - bad business image.  Alan Mulally ate crow ...and, the li'l "Rock and Roll" Executive's corporate Gulfstream went buh-bye.  Tho, Fields did keep the Mullet.

The alleged Republican Party Nerd?  Slick Rick blunders on as if it's none of the public's business.  THAT'S "customer service," baby!

Important to know, yes. But... (none / 0) (#1)

    ...where's the backback/payoff?

Short of An Act of God, Detroit's bankruptcy will be going through.

Pensioners WILL be taking a haircut.

Investors will be lucky to be getting pennies on the dollar.

Assets will be ordered sold (i.e. DIA Collection, Water Dept., etc.)

Now I don't know if anyone thought differently, but none of the city retirees I've spoken with have indicated that they have voted for anyone with a "-r" after their name.

    Ever.

If I were an investment firm, I wouldn't making any donations in the future to any politician, or anyone associated with a politician, that had cost me some serious coin.

That leaves us with most rationale target: The Detroit Fire Sale.

Unless Orr figures out some way to hold a closed bid process with zero oversight, or figures out some way to rig it, where's the payback?
