Just shut up, Mike!!!By KG One, Section News
There is a growing problem within government.
It feels that it does not have to operate under the framework it was designed under, and that the rules just simply don't apply to it. The latest example of this arrogance doesn't come from the Commander-in-Chief, but from one of Michigan's own. So who is it? {Continued below the fold}
I'll cut to the chase, here he is.
The latest in the never-ending saga of scandalpalloza, our own government's penchant for collecting massive amounts of information on its own citizens has been outed. Naturally, they aren't very happy about it. The government claims that what THEY did was perfectly acceptable and legal. However, their claim of their own actions being perfectly legal, kind of flies in the face of a number of higher-ups in the intelligence community calling for Edward Snowden to be brought up on charges. Wonderland-logic, anyone? Up is down. Black is white. Care to explain that glaring contradiction in logic, Rep. Rogers? And if that wasn't bad enough, a number of tech companies are struggling to explain to their own customers why they felt it necessary to allow the federal government to literally go on a fishing expedition with their own private personal data. This story is still unfolding, and more information is certainly going to shake loose. More than likely, not very flattering to our own elected representatives. I just can't help but wonder if those elected to represent us, really know who is working for whom? Stay tuned...
