    Dear friend -

Saul Anuzis is now somehow denying his role in National Popular Vote (NPV).

    continued below

One comes from Saul's company website, Coast to Coast Strategies, the other from an RNC Member who has a personal story about Saul, the RNC, and NPV.

    National Popular Vote Effort

Coast to Coast Strategies was retained to help put together a plan to reach out to the "center-right" constituencies nationwide. We helped develop a strategic plan, speaker/supporters training, constituency outreach, online effort, media relations and expert witness preparation and implementation to state legislative efforts.

We assisted in building their national team of consultants. We regularly interface with their state lobbyist in over 40 states and provide strategic and politic advise on implementation of various grasstops and grassroots efforts nationally.

We helped developed and implement their overall strategy to enact enabling legislation in various state legislatures around the country. We provide strategic support and supervision of lobbyist and consultant who are tasked with the enactment of a "state compact" is various states. This include the introduction and in some cases education of political, legislative and opinion leaders in states across the country.

Subject: Saul Anuzis for national popular vote
    January 7, 2011
    Dear Fellow RNC members:

We have all been inundated with spurious emails from questionable sources but I know you will want to hear from a fellow RNC member who has pertinent information regarding a candidate for RNC chair. I have not endorsed any candidate but because of my recent experience with Saul Anuzis, I will not consider him for any position of leadership at the RNC. I feel it is my duty as an RNC member to share with you all an experience I had with candidate for RNC chair, Saul Anuzis.

Last spring one of our Democrat state senators introduced a bill (SB92) to require our electors to vote for the winner of the national popular vote in the presidential race. This scheme would have formed an interstate compact. In so doing, the makers of the bill avoided the necessity of a constitutional change. This bill kept electors but required them to rubberstamp the outcome of the national popular vote rather than cast their votes based on the outcome of the presidential race in our state.

We all know trashing the Electoral College is a favorite theme of liberal Democrats. Imagine my surprise when I discovered Saul Anuzis had sent a letter in support of SB92 to Republican state Senator Charlie Huggins in late March. Senator Huggins was given the impression from Mr. Anuzis that the RNC supported the concept of a national popular vote.

After viewing the letter Saul Anuzis had sent to Senator Huggins, I called RNC headquarters. I was directed to the office of Legal Counsel where I spoke with Reince Priebus. Mr. Priebus told me Saul had requested official RNC stationery very recently but his request was denied. As you can see, the letterhead on the letter attached is an RNC elephant logo but it is not "official" RNC letterhead. To my state senator it appeared that Saul was using RNC letterhead and had RNC approval for sending out this letter. Subsequently, I had a rather heated telephone conversation with Saul Anuzis where he defended his support for this awful bill and his use of the RNC logo on his letterhead. As Mr. Anuzis said, "Anyone can get the elephant off the internet." While this is very true, as a former member (at the time) of the RNC Mr. Anuzis knew full well that his use of that logo would create a false impression that the RNC supported this bill. Mr. Anuzis sent an email this morning where he stated that he has always communicated directly with members of the RNC. I want to make clear that until I complained last spring, no Alaskan member of the RNC had been contacted by Mr. Anuzis regarding this legislation.

I consider Saul Anuzis' activity in support of undermining our Electoral College system, in cooperation with leaders of the Alaska Democrat party, to be solid proof that Mr. Anuzis is unfit to be the standard bearer of the Republican National Committee.

    Respectfully,

    Debbie Joslin
    National Committeewoman for Alaska
    Republican National Committee

This is the chance to hold a Republican leader accountable for his actions.  One who is and has been used by liberals to promote (and organize and provide national strategy for - as his website says) a very damaging policy.  One that this leader was paid to perform.
Saul's defeat really would send a strong message to Michigan Republican politicians and even nationally that we are not stupid, that we are watching, we don't forget, we aren't going to buy your obfuscation...and you will be held accountable for your actions.

I have been intrigued with how this becomes the proverbial fart in church whenever brought up in conversation.  And, it sure is nice to learn that capitulating Saul was merely carrying the Affirmative Action water for 'ol moneybags too.  Way to go Party squishy and its candidate... tell folks that they're deemed inferior to others like the liberal Kennedy clan.  Pale pastel doesn't even begin to cover the level of disgust and disdain with all that.

The one I'm truly shocked about is Mr. "It's kind of like Third World voting" rolling over with endorsing Saul "DELE-GATE".  WTF Mike?  You really are taking Semper fidelis to a whole new level that only the Other Side enjoys the gifted hammer to beat us with on the Conservative Right.  The milquetoast wouldn't even notice that kind of bludgeoning, though.  As always, their sensitivities make excuse for that gifted hammer.  Jarhead, I hope that endorsement is worth it to you and furthering Laura along within the squishy Party of cronies.

Yup.  The way I figure it, this election is pretty much shot in the ass.  We're all stuck with today's version of Profiles in Chrome, or pResident Downgrade's Critical Theory Marxism.  Giant douche, or sh!# sandwich.  America, or Occupy.  Truth: the 'Gang of Four' ineptocracy got their way in this state as well did other states ineptocracies.

Conservatives have only one option this year.  Place a price on the Moderates agenda, or allow them to continue along their merry way as free riders.  Bottom line: the overhaul starts with the purging of Saul "DELE-GATE".

Why, it'd be... The shot heard around the "Third World".
