Stupid is as stupid does.By KG One, Section News
Yes, the democrats are at it again.
Who is it this time? {Click below to find out.}
I'm sure as many readers are aware of, the Democratic Party tried to pull a fast one on Michigan Voters a few years ago.
Attempting to capitalize on growing Tea Party movement across America, they felt that they could easily dupe voters from supporting conservative candidates, thereby helping their candidates win elections by creating a faux-Tea Party. The problem was, no one knew who the people behind this fake Tea Party were. The people organizing it kept to the shadows for the longest time. Doing everything behind the scenes with little to no fan fare. Calling a "state convention" at the last minute. Releasing a slate of delegates that not only most people never heard of, but based upon their slate's previous connections, would be hard pressed to be categorized as even remotely supporting the Tea Party's core philosophy. And even having the audacity of signing up several of those people to be candidates, without even having the common courtesy of getting their permission first. Well, it didn't work. Through the work of Chetly Zarko & Jason Gillman, these people were exposed for the scam artists they really were. It was ultimately discovered that the Oakland County Democratic Party, more specifically then-Oakland County Democratic Chair Mike McGuinness and then-Democratic Operations Director Jason Bauer were involved with forging signatures and other documents relating to their cheap Tea Party knockoff and were subsequently brought up on several felony charges. The Michigan Democratic Party promptly disavowed any knowledge of their activities and subsequently threw them under the proverbial bus. After their trial, in typical Michigan Jurisprudence fashion, just like all other politically connected defendants, these two were given a legal slap on the wrist: fines, court costs and probation. But with one stipulation: They were not to break any more laws. Not that difficult a condition to follow...right? Wrong. One of them couldn't. So who is the schemp in question? According to The Detroit News this week:
"Jason Bauer, 28, of Auburn Hills was arrested March 10 for alleged drunken driving in Warren. He went before Oakland Circuit Judge James Alexander for violating one of the conditions of probation -- not to break any more laws -- and was sentenced to 30 days in jail." Anyone want to lay odds of him getting out even before then?
