Ballot Instructions for the Michigan Republican Presidential PrimaryBy JenKuznicki, Section News
Fill in the circle, don't check it like I did. I checked to show brightly what you need to do. Remember to fill in the little circle like you were back in high school.
First, they will give you the following, if you aren't a US citizen, go home, you are in the wrong place. Fill in the little circle that says you are a United States citizen. Fill in the little circle on the side where it says-- Republican Party Presidential Primary Ballot-- after you sign your name, fill in your name, date of birth, and address. Lets begin below the fold.
If you receive the following ballot, you've gone wrong, go back and say you want the Republican Ballot. Barack Obama does not have a contender, you want to vote for who will replace him. Do what they say.
If you receive the following ballot, you've done the right thing, but understand that only 4 people are running right now, and only 2 are really competitive. Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum. Again, don't check it like I did, fill in the little circle. What I try to tell conservatives, and that means conservative Democrats and conservative Republicans, is that we have a vote on who will replace Barack Obama. Rick Santorum is a conservative. Mitt Romney is not. Do your thing, Michigan, I'm voting for Santorum. Conservative Democrats, don't listen to anyone who says that you will be a Republican because of this vote. Nothing could be further from the truth. There is no registration in Michigan concerning Democrats or Republicans. You are simply a patriot who loves God and the Constitution, and you have a voice in the process.
