This guy will do "anything" to get the nomination.  He doesn't care what damage is done, whether he tears the party apart, or what methods are used....  Note Language Warning

to the full extent of the law for illegally removin the signs.

The Santorum campaign needs to be more careful in the future, though.  Those signs look like they may have been too close to the road (although it's hard to tell from just the video), and may have also violated local laws.

Appears to be more to this than just a simple act of vandalism by the Romney camp (do you REALLY believe any campaign would endorse this sort of behavior?).  Commenters on the Youtube page seem to indicate that DPW removed the signs at the request of the property owner.  Having been involved in campaigns, the municipality can be pretty particular about following sign posting rules.  As another commenter posted, these may have been too close to the road.

    I'm not by any stretch a Willard supporter. (none / 0) (#4)

But I can tell you from years of experience that you cannot just put up campaign sign anywhere you please.

    It doesn't work that way.

Local Ordinances can be tricky but.. (none / 0) (#5)

the difference that I see in the video is that the romney signs were not between the sidewalk and the road while the santorum signs were...  This is a pretty common ordinance.  In my experience tho yard signs tend to not be particularly reliable voters...

Yada yada yada... local ordinance... yada yada..

Ok, if we're going to play this local ordinance game, let's find the damned location where this went down, and cite the bloody f'ing ordinance for that locale so we can get an idea if it was actually in violation or not.
