We Can't Pick and Choose the Rights of Others

Do you truly believe in protecting rights and freedoms? I bet you don't!

Do you believe in right-to-work? Here is the problem...everybody talks about rights and freedoms but they often believe their rights should trump the rights of others. For example, right-to-work refers to an individual having the right to join a union or not. But the reality is that most people in Michigan feel that their right to force union membership supersedes the rights of those who don't want to be a member of a union. So when you feel your rights are being trampled on, don't complain because you don't support other people's rights, so why should they support yours!

We need to protect everybody's rights! Our rights should never trample on the rights of others. Freedom starts with you! Or tyranny!

I would disagree with your assertion that most people in Michigan support the closed shop rule (compulsory union membership).

Oh, around Detroit, Lansing, even Eastern Ohio those people are easy to spot.

      Everywhere else, not so much.

And the numbers are better than you think for RTW.

Michigan does have a ways to go, but moving forward.
