Governor Snyder's NITC Bridge and Public-Private Partnerships

Well, Governor Snyder is pushing forward his Big Government Bridge agenda and throwing our coerced tax dollars to the Moocher Class.

Gov. Rick Snyder pledged Tuesday that a new government-sponsored bridge to Canada would include multiple benefits for the residents of the hard-hit Delray district in southwest Detroit.

Marked by poverty, dumped trash, numerous vacant lots and boarded-up buildings, Delray is the district where the Snyder-backed New International Trade Crossing bridge would land on the Detroit side. Community leaders led by Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a Democrat who represents the district in Lansing, accompanied Snyder Tuesday afternoon on a bus tour of Delray and lobbied him for a community-benefits agreement as part of the NITC project.

Snyder promised that there would be such a benefits package, although there were no specifics about what it might include.

This Public-Private Bridge [Sec. 3 (e), (l)] agenda is getting beyond disgusting.  Do folks really understand what Governor Snyder is getting America and Michigan involved in?

This NAU scheme bridge in Michigan is nothing new.  Video from 9/29/08 outlines other Public-Private Partnerships occurring throughout America.

TEA Partiers, you had best be readying those alleged recall plans.  Governor Rick Snyder's Big Government Central Planning NITC/DRIC bridge agenda is about to steamroller you with organized labor payola and the Ambassador gift to Canada.

...over this story when it first aired locally a few days back.

It wasn't even 2 seconds of video, but it showed that the guv couldn't get on his little tour bus going out of Del Ray fast enough.

Right now the best thing that we can do with DRIC is call our local capitol critter, let them know how we feel. We can also keep our eyes and ears open on the status of the Willow Run Recall.

Lansing is on vacation for at least two more weeks so nothing will happen before September.

I'd just as soon they didn't do it.

But if the republicans in Lansing want to take another swig of the guv's kool aid and pass this stink-bomb of a bill, the organizational structure for the recall should be in place by then.

And Canadians would want to cross here... why?

At least if you are coming from Canada to Detroit. Ricky the RINO shows what a putz he really is by trying to push something that we don't need, don't want and can't afford. Let the private sector take the risk if this is viable. Any Republican that votes for this garbage will not get my vote in the future and I will support anybody that primaries them. Enough said.
