Who are the NERD fund donors Mr Snyder?

    Raise the curtain.

"I'm from the government, and I'm here to help."

These words may have gotten a chuckle from the audience when they were first spoken by President Reagan in Illinois back in '86, but now, they are slowly taking on a more ominous meaning.

    How so?

    {Click below to find out more.}

About two weeks ago, there was a story in the local media about the Detroit SWAT team dealing with a barricaded gunman (later woman) for several hours over on the west-side.

Initially, I really didn't give the story a second thought. I mentally filed it away as just another day in Detroit and focused on other things.

Several days ago, I was asked by a friend to look up some info regarding this story, and came up with some very unnerving stuff.

It seems that THE reason why the SWAT Team was deployed outside of this woman's home was because Michigan HHS didn't feel that this woman's daughter was being taken care of very well.

Exactly how they got involved in this story to begin with is still a bit of a mystery, but the gist of the story deals with one Maryanne Godboldo and the case of encephalitis her daughter came down with after being immunized.

Long story short, the "experts" prescribed Mrs. Godboldo's daughter a drug known as Risperdal to treat her condition.

Mrs. Godboldo didn't like what she was seeing in her daughter after giving her this drug. As the Mother, she decided to discontinue their "treatment" and seek something more beneficial for her daughter.

That didn't fly at all with the CPS and brings us to where we are at today.

Just to let you know, here are some of the side effects of taking Risperdal:

    • High/low blood pressure.

    • Muscle Pain.

    • Muscle stiffness.

    • Involuntary muscle control/seizures.

    • Disrupted body temperature regulation.

    • Insomnia.

    • Renal failure.

    • Diabetes.

    • Coma.

    • Brain damage.

    • And, oh yeah, may cause morbidity.

The "experts" who prescribed this drug for a child are free.

Mrs. Godboldo's daughter is still in state custody after a hearing earlier today. An appeal is pending.

This is a sad commentary of how far our republic has drifted away from its original intent.

Our own government is going after a mother whose only crime was looking after the well-being of her own daughter.

We have elected officials who feel that it it their duty to limit and monitor the types of medication we can use (after they had approved us using it). We now have government officials telling us that WE MUST put dangerous psychotropic drugs in children when ordered to do so or else those children will be removed by the state who will then administer these drugs for their own good?!?

Does anyone else see something very, very, very  wrong with this picture?

...behind all the Godboldo is a societal victim of government overreach hype, but just can't seem to muster it up.  At least not yet anyway.

    "Come help me, Obama!"

One could argue that being precisely the mentality that is responsible for their situation.
