    Constitutional?

Looking at one of the decisions made recently by our state senators, I wonder how short a person's memory can possibly be?

Allow me to get just a wee bit cantankerous here.

In November 2010, the repudiation of the unconstitutional Obamacare could not have been made more clear.  The line drawn in the sand has been made.  Especially in Michigan, (still a "blue" state) which made majorities in both houses for Republicans.  Good Tea Party folk in this state have been particularly effective in moving the spectrum of office holders decidedly to the right, yet political Alzheimers has already beset the marginal recipients of our expressed outrage at the literal Abomination (Obama-nation) through the ballot box.  Many seem to have forgotten the source of their mandate.

    Or they lied.

Liars should not be forgotten, nor forgiven all too easily.

Misdirection disguised as good intention is still an obfuscation of truth.  And as one post recently pointed out, there is no bashfulness by certain senators about hiding behind just-in-case legislation for the purpose of accepting federal dollars and selling out Michigan citizens in the big picture of the health care debate.  There is no question that the health care exchange comes with not only strings attached, but rather with full blown ankle bracelets, and 3/8" links.  Yet, if nothing else was clearly stated, there was an absolute rejection of Obamacare demanded in this last election.

One more piece in the impossible to dismantle government interference in our lives bureaucracy is now that much closer to reality.

    Yay.

    A little more below.

Senators, understand something.  The citizenry is getting buggered here.   No means "NO."  You pretend that its better cause YOU are doing it to us.  As I pull my hair out, I have to think there is a psychological condition named for it.  I suppose later on if no one else does, its possible we make one up. But it just might be that some in power are counting on another one that comes to mind.  At the point where we have lost all will to fight, Stockholm syndrome takes hold, and our sympathies will align with our captors.

But only if our captors last that long.

BTW, a great big nod of appreciation to my own Senator, Howard Walker (R), as well as Senators Brandenburg (R)Casperson (R) Colbeck (R)Hune(R) Kowall (R) Moolenaar (R) Nofs (R) Proos (R) Robertson (R) Rocca (R)and Schuitmaker (R) who wisely understood the ramifications of this poorly thought out health care legislation. Nobody should say we don't acknowledge the good in Lansing on this site.

You other guys?  The ones that along with 100% support by your Democrat colleagues who were likely wringing their hands in joy?

I can tell you, I for one would rather see you gone, than pass on further prevarication to the people who gave you the responsibility to do our work and say NO to the Federal miscreants who set this beast loose.  To say NO to who will be replaced in 2012 anyhow.  Here is the Kicker. There are three of you who will already face recall soon enough. (and yes, all are in the naughty list on SB 693 - enjoy the lumps of coal)  And it won't be from the teacher's unions.  This last vote simply adds motivation to make sure it happens.

    Bravo.

I'll let you argue amongst one another to figure out who it is.  In the meantime, perhaps donors who like to make sure their cash influx matters, should ask themselves if their hard earned contributions will be used to advance conservative Republicans, or used to fight recall attempts initiated by your allies. Just saying.

One last note going out to House Republicans:

I hope you got a clean shot in the hunt, loaded up on venison, and are ready to get back to business and bury this disgusting capitulation to the worst-legislation-ever, permanently.

I would certainly hate to have to start recruiting primary challengers in 2012.

That includes those for in my own back yard.

    . . . is what I've already said.

Pick three stinkers, and let's get busy.  And while you're at it, see if your state senator will support the no-confidence vote.

into assuming that it's the other side of the isle.

One isn't supposed to say anything about conspiracy or the like without being belittled, intimidated or accused of silliness but concerted efforts to infiltrate is their tactic.
