When Republicans take back control of both houses of Congress in January, their first order of business must be voting to restore all of the Bush tax cuts. Yes, even the cuts for those evil capitalist pigs considered The Rich. If President Obama vetoes it, he will only be sealing his political fate to a one-term presidency. Even the most hateful class warrior subconsciously understands that raising anyone's taxes in the midst of an economic depression only worsens an already dire situation.
The next step is to sell off any remaining government ownership and control of GM and Chrysler. The automakers need to sink or swim on their own in the free market. Then it's time to cancel any further spending from the balance remaining in the Obama-stash stimulus bill. Reportedly, only half of the $1 Trillion Obama slush fund has been spent. Do NOT spend the remaining half billion dollar balance. That will automatically cut 2011's projected $1 Trillion-plus deficit in half.
