Who are the NERD fund donors Mr Snyder?

    Raise the curtain.

Lets see if I remember how to do this...

    Ah, what a year.

I spent the last twelve months preparing for a grueling gubernatorial race, doing a stint in a state executive office with people I'd eventually be working with on a grueling gubernatorial race, handling press during a grueling gubernatorial race, losing a grueling gubernatorial race... All of that leaves a man with two overwhelming thoughts--

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... I've missed you and it's good to be home.

Jason Gillman has done a fantastic job keeping the content here at RightMichigan fresh, thought provoking and uber-relevant, and he's not going anywhere.  Props to Jason.  Mega-props.

We're fortunate here in Michigan to have conservative new media folks who do more for the cause than sit around their basement rhetorically lighting up the Lefties.  Gillman broke the fake tea party story wide-open (making national news).  Chris Kobus (the BlogProf) has become a go-to guy for the mainstream media and carried the banner in print and on TV.  Wendy Day, Melanie Hall and Joan Fabiano all but BECAME the Tea Party here in Michigan.  And I could keep going...

Everyone here knows those names and we all should.  What with it being a new year and a new cycle and the fact I've been away, though, not everyone here might know me.

Hi.  My name is Nick and I'm a blogger.  (This is the part where you all reply "Hi, Nick.")  I've been blessed to be a part of this community since we launched it in early 2007.  I've worked the Cox AG race in 2002, the Bush re-election campaign in 2004, the DeVos for Governor campaign in 2006 and recently wrapped up a stint as the Press Secretary for the Mike Cox 2010 campaign.

I'm also newly engaged (thanks for all of the kind words) to the most incredible woman in the world, one of those Jesus people, the eldest of ten siblings, an unapologetic Denver Broncos fan and a believer in Kyle Orton AND Tim Tebow.  Yes.  It's a sickness.

So that's me.  And I'm back.

There are dozens of critical issues and races across Michigan this year, and a lot at stake in November.  Looking forward to fighting the good fight together.

Can the Cherry Record be replaced with the Bergnero Record?  :-)

So is Nick ever going to come out and explain why the Cox campaign decided to take the low road and smear and attack all of the real conservative candidates and thus pave the way for RINO Rick?

No thanks for all of your hard work...

I see that the pu55y blame game is still alive and well with folk like archiespeck.

I think we deserve an explanation as to why the best opportunity to re-install true conservatism in the governor's mansion was squandered. It's a given that RINO Rick wins -- I would just like to know why...

Look dude, if you voted then you have really nothing to bitch about.  We all cast our individual vote and that is best anyone can do.

Urban legend lost, TARP voting bicycleman lost and Oakland County's arabic Wyatt Earp lost yet again too.

    Its over.

Other than that, finger pointin' folk the likes of archiespeck deserve nothing.

    you know what? (none / 0) (#21)

I'm perfectly willing to move on. But real conservatives still have a bad taste in their mouth after seeing the ONE candidate they didn't want to win the primary win it. Sorry, but Cox - and to a lesser extent Bouchard - shoulder a huge amount of blame. Trust me, the bad taste will worsen once Snyder gets in and goes soft the first time the unions smack him in the mouth.

But, JGillman is right -- the choice between nerdking and Bernero is crystal clear. The Jesse Jackson/Bob King campaign stumping sent a chill down my spine.

I'm done with this conversation.  I just thought Nick would like to share his side of the story.  Perhaps sometime down the road...
