WATZ radio in Alpena has a headline on their web site describing the Alpena Tea Party:

"Tea Baggers Have A Party"

I emailed the news director and asked him why he does not use offensive head lines to describe the enviromental group trying to stop the clean coal plant in Rogers City. Don't think I will get a reply.

... is a win/win for liberals. Not only are they frankly seeking to edge into Tea Party actions and discredit them, but they make Tea Partiers paranoid about each other. Since conservatives are only too happy to form circular firing squads (see Free Fepublic), this can be devastating.

Just got this reply from WATZ news.

We were unaware of the phrase's offensiveness until a caller pointed it out earlier this morning.

It has since been changed to "Tea Party Supporters Rally In Alpena."
