Kwame Kilpatrick's mother, U.S. Congresswoman, Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick has been subpoenaed to testify in front of a Detroit Grand Jury.

The subpoena is in regard to a federal corruption investigation in city government while Kwame Kilpatrick was mayor.

From Breitbart:

In Washington, U.S. Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick told The Associated Press Thursday she "absolutely" would comply.
Notice of the subpoena was in Wednesday's Congressional Record.
Kilpatrick's office manager has also been told to appear at the grand jury. The dates of their appearances were not disclosed.

It's nice to know Ms. Cheeks Kilpatrick will comply with the subpoena.

We can only hope the House of "Cads" is coming down. Even though Robert Bobb and Dave Bing are democrats, I think they are honorable men trying to do what is right by Detroit. I also applaud the US Attorney's office in Detroit in trying to root out the corruption even though most of that group are democrats. Something has to be done because we are all paying for the sins of Detroit as our hard earned tax dollars are being funneled to the city in all forms of subsidies and revenue sharing via crooks like the Kilpatrick Mafia and the Granmole Administration.

Besides, in this dismal Michigan economic disaster the entertainment factor of watching them squirm and hollar is priceless.

Perhaps they can form one of thos "family" music groups now that they will have matching outfits. (Should they let Monica sing back up?)
