    Raise the curtain.

    Prove it.

    The time is at hand.

When those in the newly elected Michigan Senate decide who will be the leader, it must be someone who is willing to go beyond the status quo.  Make no mistake of thinking the 'leadership' of the Republican party had this election in the bag without the support of the free market, liberty loving tea party types who did a great deal of the WORK to change Michigan and the rest of the nation.

Ignore our efforts at your peril.

An article in today's Capitol Confidential has a quote by prospect for Senate Majority leader, Randy Richardville:

"I have moved further to the right than I used to be"

    Glad to know.

What does that mean Randy?  And what about your follow up?

"I don't see unions as being evil. If you want to work in Michigan, I'm probably going to support you. Sometimes working with unions helps get them back to work. ... Some people on the far right want to throw anyone out because they work for a union organization. That's not me."

With all due respect. "Probably" won't cut it.

In fact take a step outside the box.

What many who have been a part of the political establishment seem to think conservatism, or being 'right' is a social effect that can be mastered through government. Some of the perceived conservative social agendas that are every bit as statist as the left's.  Because you are pro life, or pro gun does not automatically plant you as a conservative, or on the 'right' side.  Bart Stupak might be able to tell you this.

You might want to take a 2nd look at the Right-to-work legislation as a means to prove your assumed conservative cred.  Dont waffle on it. Don't let the incoming governor with his "it'll be divisive" commentary dissuade your placing it before him to sign.  He'll sign it if we keep the pressure up.

Right to work is the single BEST way to start the healing for this state, and put it on a competitive footing.

Freedom has a funny way of being the great equalizer.  The choice of free people to contract with other free people..  What a novel concept.

    Or do you disagree?

Please feel free to distinguish yourself from your non-competition, and maybe from your "voting record from six years ago" And demonstrate in words, in print that you have indeed "moved further to the right."

Are you truly conservative Randy? Then place the right to work legislation on your list of top priorities.

What better way to prove it?
