The COST..By JGillman, Section News
I haven't yet begun the hunt for the benefactors of the Fake Tea Party signature campaign. I will gladly accept any leads, or perhaps suggestions which rocks to look under. However, if I was a guessing guy, I would have to have at least one guess point towards a guy who's name begins with "S" and ends with "oros."
But that is old news right? Not that the press gives a lick about who is funding such things. No matter that what we were able to fight off here in Michigan, a lie that in other states still stands. The fakers who pretend to stand for something, in an attempt to deny the people suffrage. Fraud. One might expect a properly operating government institution to investigate such things. Certainly, credit where credit is due to the board of canvassers and its handling of the Michigan fake Tea fiasco. We were lucky that statutory language provided a technicality that the fraudsters could not overcome, even in the appeals process. The rule of Law triumphed, and even given the two Democrats who voted AGAINST the rule of law in the board of canvassers (those persons should be removed immediately) the appeals court, and a denial to hear by the Michigan Supreme Court shows the "system" is still functional. But being lucky is not good enough when there is so much money inserted into the process by sources that would do us harm.. and make the cost of dealing with it so high.
Truth be told, I cannot tell you how many hours must have been spent in finding ways to bring this recent travesty of the elections process to light. Between the initial time spent by our departed friend Chetly Zarko to discover the PCI connection, The attorneys to make the challenges on the technicalities, Johnson's office, and other official environments where validity was challenged, the cost of something so underhanded is immeasurable. Even my own time spent has a cost.
Indeed, simply to overcome an attempt by those in the LEFT, specifically those in the Michigan Democrat party to gain and hold more POWER OVER YOU. And it doesn't end here in Michigan.
While the benevolent socialist institution known as the Federal Government creates a framework that makes the people more dependent on its actions for survival, it now challenges those who would oppose its onward march. Anyone who opposes the presumption of authority by our President and his Utopian goal of slavery for all, now meets a new challenge: "Chairman Max Baucus of the powerful Senate Finance Committee got the threats going last month when he asked Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Douglas Shulman to investigate if certain tax exempt 501(c) groups had violated the law by engaging in too much political campaign activity. Lest there be any confusion about his targets, the Montana Democrat flagged articles focused on GOP-leaning groups, including Americans for Job Security and American Crossroads. " They want to shut us up. For some institutions, the threat may be enough. Have we become THIS? Is there even the possibility we might be seeing an attempt to silence the opposition through the hammer of government? And even in the face of it clearly violating the REAL intent of the 1st amendment, will it be allowed to stand? It cannot. Start writing checks. Your money is no good if you have it after this election cycle. Particularly if THEY still have any semblance of power. The cost, if we fail to beat back those who would silence us with intimidation by the IRS, political correctness, by dividing us from our friends who are of a different color, nationality or faith, is too much. The Michigan GOP slogan this year is more true than even they realize. We have One Chance. The most important time both nationally, and statewide to put the brakes on HARD.. is now. Our constitutional insurance policy appears to reaching an expiration date. If allowed to do so, it would cost too much to restore, and we may lose it. Its time to renew.
