Where: The State Capital Building September 11th marks the day when thousands of American citizens were murdered in a terrorist attack the on World Trade Center, the Pentagon, American Airlines Flight 11, United Airlines Flight 175, American Airlines Flight 77, and United Flight 93. That day, left 2,740 Americans dead, 1,609 people lost a spouse or partner and more than 3,051 children lost parents. Michiganders will join our fellow country men in solidarity to "Never Forget" that day or those who died. "We must never forget those thousands of our fellow Americans or their families and importantly we must never forget that we are still engaged in a war with an enemy who wants to kill us simply because we are Americans and have freedom of worship" says Joan Fabiano, community activist and organizer. Fabiano goes on to say," We will read the names of all Americans who perished in the attack. We invite citizens to come, for a time of pray and reflection and we extend to those attending the honor of an invitation to read names if so desired." The 9.11 Memorial Event is one of hundreds to be held at the same time in cities and towns all across the United States. The 9.11 Memorial Events will be held in Kalamazoo, New York, Hoboken, Akron, Prescott, San Marcos,Bonita Springs and at dozens of other locations around the United States.
