Not your Mother's Social Security Health Care System anymoreBy BobV01, Section News
I often wonder how many Americans have read the writings of our founding fathers, I sometimes even wonder if all of my Right Wing Brother and Sisters have: to be fair if there is someone out there who has not: a resource could be The Federalist Papers by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison and John Jay [ISBN 0-553-21340-7].
I sometimes wonder if we actively think about who America is. A nation of immigrants, a melting pot, of course, most nations are, look to Europe: this tribe or that clan, fairly homogenized over centuries while retaining some unique aspects. South America, where Spanish is the dominant lingual influence, is a melting pot. Africa where tribes have moved from nation to nation, even Arabia, where tribes and clans have moved from area to area, is a melting pot. The planet Earth is a melting pot.
For us and ours, for our mutual prosperity and that of our posterity, I think that is an American statement. Truth to tell, although I can trace my ancestry back to a single town on a river in the Netherlands, and, even though at this point it is getting increasingly difficult to be my elder, elder Hollanders have I. I remember asking a relative thirty-years ago, about his visit to the Netherlands, and immediately saw the sadness in his eyes: "Bob it is not what you think it is", normally verbose, especially at Family Functions, and even though politely, clearly that was to be the end of that thread of conversation. Many of us here at Right Michigan are proud of our ancestry, I am certain there are some fine consumers of cannoli, who will attest that there are differences between Europe and America. Churches, for instance are not flourishing in Europe. What we might consider illicit substances are more common place than we might think. Europe has at least the same Family Court volume and difficulties as we do, reports are that Brazil, Australia and New Zeeland among others do as well.
In America, unlike the rest of the globe we have hung on to duty to God, Country and Family and in that we are more unique than perhaps we suspect. It seems to me that Right Wingers embrace that most fully and is our strongest asset in the eyes of our liberal and progressive cousins, some of whom are in agreement with the family aspect. I appreciate that we live in a hurry up society, whether the Federalist Papers, your favorite Holy Book, or even ten minutes to reflect on your day's journey, we sometimes need to stop, breathe, think. Here is a funny aspect for reflection; some people have suggested medical services as the bulwark to Michigan's economy. How many of us truly take time to reflect on exchange economy? What is it we will exchange with a fellow Brother or Sister in turn for something that they will trade? What will the American economy trade with our national global neighbors? Michigan is blessed with agriculture and tourism, that may not take enough hands to produce in order to produce a robust economy. Forty years ago in all places Minnesota, followed by no fault everything out of California, we began an assault on the American Family, and sorry to say we the people of Michigan in supporting anti-family legislators and other elected leaders lead the charge. We have incentivized the destruction of families; we keep children from their Fathers, you can not encourage Fatherhood by discouraging it. We can not promote family by incentivizing single mother families. Pure and simple, hatred of women is misogyny and hatred of men is misandry: I write not as a misogynist nor misandrist, but rather one who as had time to watch the children of our State. Can you imagine a young man who has little proficiency putting a belt on, or young people who slide their feet in and out of footwear, because they are not proficient in shoe tying? What about pants worn about the quadriceps? Perhaps as you read this your children have graduated high school, our youngsters are the future of our state, our party and your future consumers. Perhaps as you read this you currently find yourself married, in the year 2000 for the first time in American history there were more households headed by single women than by married couples. Perhaps you are married, all of your children have Ph.Ds and you are looking to golden years ahead, take a moment to reflect on when is the last time Right Wingers carried the state of Michigan? Truth to tell everyone on the Right has a vested interest in Families in Michigan. If we have no one to trade with, and no one who will vote with us: we may as well get back in our canoe and paddle back to our island. Not publicized as much as it should, Europe is imploding, no church, devasted families, failing social services (Europeans seek to abolish their socialist programs), and, searching for markets, often on our American shores. Japan is considering new payments to couples in exchange for producing new citizens (babies). Great Britian shipped marriage eligible women to Australia to create Families and a robust society: families and the right to have one (posterity). It may be true that most Right Wingers do not expect to utilize Social Security, that may also be false, although I would like to focus your attention most closely on SSA Title IV, all forty-two titles of the Social Security Act have non retirement expenditures. Currently, there is an email circulating about US Senate proposals to add more immigrant benefits to the Social Security Burden We know of the much heralded Social Security Act of 1935(as amended), that is where retirees' Social Security Checks come from.
It may not be fully correct, to think that SSA is just about Retirement. It may well be, that certain individual's willingness to expand U.S.A. Federal Programs, is what causes some to be wary of a National Health Plan.
Did you know that there are forty-two titles to the Social Security Act, contained in two volumes? Each Title is comprised of Sections, and sub-sections, and sub-sub-sections, and Clauses and Conditions. Have you for instance read SSA Title IV, Sec. 403 (2)(A)(ii)(I)(aa) or do you realize that at Title IV, sections (A), (D) and (E) work against each other?
resources Why is this news, come back on Wednesday September 9, 2009 and re-read this. expansive is expansive is expansive, The Right Grip on elections is not (at this time), those who fully embrace family in its ever evolving definitions, stand at your shoulder, if only we will extend a hand in community...
