I sincerely hope no one from RightMichigan is helping this fellow. For gosh sakes, learn to spell before submitting important documents for the public to see. Nine errors within eight petitions? There's no excuse for that.

    Read below:

Paul PACHE on Friday filed with the Ingham County Clerk eight attempts to recall Granholm on an upcoming ballot. A three-person commission rejected his previous proposed petitions after it found the wording of the petitions too unclear.

    • "Granholm has layed (sic) off state police and correctional officers jeopardizing public safety, while keeping her husband employeed (sic) in a non essential position."

    • "Granholm approval of wholesale release of convicted felons and prison closures, did increase new crimes against Michigan Citizens."

    • "Granholm approved spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on unnecesary (sic) and useless visions and values training for state employees."

    • "Granholm layed (sic) off 100 State Police at the same time releasing convicted felons, jeopardizing public safety."

    • "The wholesale release of convicted felons and repeat offenders has compromised public safety, causing death of many of Michigan Citizens. Governor Granholm violated the Michigan Constitution, Article 1, Sec 1, (sic) All political power is inherent in the people. Government is instituted for their equal benefit, security and protection."

    • "Granholm grossly underestimated the effect of rapidly releasing thousands of convicted felons in the worst economy Michigan has ever sen (sic). The prisons, (some), have commited (sic) robbery as a form of employment."

    • "Granholm administrative policy of closing 6 correctional facilities and rapidly releasing thousands of felons back into Michigan comunities (sic). There Has (sic) had a devastating effect on Michigan communitties (sic). There has been a significant number of new crimes including murder and rape. Governor Granholm's decision has violated the Michigan Constitution to protect. Article 1, Sec 1,"

    • "Granholm was warned that MPRI was having a devastating effect on Michigan Citizens, including new crimes. Granholm refused to stop the MPRI experiment and it's had a deadly effect on Michigan society."

    Grammar and spelling (none / 0) (#1)

are definitely not this person's best subject, neither is making points of the petition clear. This petition should not be accepted at all. Let my mom (retired school teacher with two master degrees) tutor this person if he is really intent on writing a petition to recall Granholm that would be acceptable in spelling, grammar, and be strong in it's points as to why Granholm should be recalled. Also, the petition should be more concise than, "...it's had a deadly effect on Michigan society." What deadly effect? Please explain, sir. Not that I don't agree with the petitioner, but this is so vague, that even though I get the idea presented, legally it cannot stand on it's own.

On second thought, I wouldn't do that to my mom.
