CNBC's Rick Santelli called earlier this week, backed by mortgage traders, for a "Nationwide Chicago Tea Party" to protest the Obama Administration's Pork Laden Stimulus plan.

The Boston Tea Party was an act of direct protest by American Colonists demanding representation in the British Government.They became known as the original patriots.

As the bailouts spiral out of control, we are forced to fund failed banks. With foreclosures on the rise, we are made the collateral of out-of-control spending . And, when the bills come due, the IRS knocks on the door of self-responsibility.

I'm very nearly tempted to be there. I hope it's huge, and that the MSM is forced to cover it. It's long overdue that the people on the Right side of things hit the streets and make a fuss, the way the fringe leftist groups have been for years.

A noisy minority is stronger than a silent majority. Lets make some noise!

. . . to everyone in the Michigan Fair Tax Association that I have access to. I also did what I could to pass the word around to various other like-minded organizations (expect to see some Ron Paul Republicans). Ditto with Political Contacts, Friends, Associates, and Family.

Regrettably, I cannot be there myself. Pre-existing engagement involving my daughter (Division 2, Region 11).

However, you should know that the Michigan Fair Tax Association and its allies are planning a tax protest in Lansing, scheduled for April. Perhaps we can stage a "part 2" of this protest then.

Statewide leadership of MFTA is planning on a visible presence. Look for the Michigan Fair Tax signs.

Our intention is to get some microphone time for both MFTA state leadership and known MFTP supporters in both Michigan's congressional delegation and state legislature.

We are also thinking about tying this event into our April "Tax Freedom" Protest at the state capitol.
