As I've mentioned one or two times on this site, I'm pretty deeply involved with the Kent County Republican Committee (KCRC). This includes having reported on the November-December meetings and convention. There are three events happening at KCRC-HQ in pretty quick sequence, just in case anyone might be interested.
From Joanne Voorhees: While the State Legislature is just getting started in Lansing for this term, we are in the process of building our plans and framework for the 2010 election here in Kent County and we want to hear from residents and gather their input!
January Executive Committee Meeting The January Executive Committee meeting will take place on Thursday, January 29 at the Kent GOP Headquarters. The meeting will begin at 6:30 pm with the County Convention following at 7:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public. For more information, contact the headquarters at 616-459-0141. County Convention The Kent GOP's County Convention will be held on Thursday, January 29 at 7:30 pm at the Kent GOP Headquarters. The purpose of the County Convention is to elect delegates to the State Convention which will be held in Lansing on February 20 & 21. For more information, contact the Headquarters at 616-459-0141. Grassroots Roundtable Discussion On Thursday, February 5, beginning at 5:30 pm, at the Kent GOP Headquarters (264 Leonard St. NW), we will be holding a Grassroots Roundtable Discussion. We want to hear your ideas, your input on what we should be focusing on and tips from you as to how we can improve the operation here in Kent County in 2010.
