A lot of people will become criminals - and I think a good portion of them will not care.

That is all I will say.

I don't see this passing....at this time. This country is center-right still on gun politics.

What I'm much more concerned about is this:

    1. Ammo taxes/gun taxes. That's the big rumor right now.

    2. Ban on guns for those on the watch list, never mind the fact that we are innocent till proven guilty in the country.

    3. The comeback of the ugly gun ban.

    4. Ballistic prints.

All of those except section 2 have passed in other states.

    I hope that... (none / 0) (#4)

...you were not too surprised by this development?

I would HIGHLY advise that if you are considering purchasing a firearm, to do so immediately.

Why make it easier to take things away, when you don't have it to begin with?

Prohibits: (1) transferring a firearm to any person other than a licensee, unless the transfer is processed through a licensed dealer in accordance with national instant criminal background check system requirements,

This means the gun you inherited, or bought at a garage sale, traded to your friend for a guitar, or got when your friend said "Can you loan me some money, I'll let you keep my shotgun, and rifle, till I pay you back, but then never paid you back"

This is total registration, the first step, to all gun bans. ask the subjects living in England, or Australia. They are living proof, it was also the first step in Nazi Germany, total registration.

The U.N is a powerful force in promoting gun bans, The guy George Bush appointed as ambassador to the U.N. was a real hero, for blocking U.N gun bans aimed at the American people. The U.S has the highest quality of freedom on this planet, and I'm concerned, that the new Obama appointees, are weak and might compromise freedom and sell us out to the U.N global elitists who wish to defecate on the U.S Constitution, and American Values, and traditions.
