The timing of it. He may well not have meant it that way, but the timing seems to be very bad.

... this seems like a real stretch.  Like the Obama "My Muslim background.." quote, context is everything, and there's no context given here.

Discussion of applying cosmetics to any animals is excellent.
If we didn't have such important issues to occupy our minds, we would be forced to think about solving the problems of China out-competing our manufacturers, solving our conflicts without resorting to violence, reducing the profits of drug, oil and motgage banking corporations, or solving the problems of dirty coal powered plants.
The stress of thinking about real issues would cause old people (over 65) to have heart attacks.

Did not intend to call Palin a pig. But he opened himself up to this, and it's exactly what they would've done to McCain if the tables were turned.

We should enjoy this moment, because it's fun to watch the Dems floundering... but the pendulum will swing, and they will get their footing, and McCain will be getting it back as bad as he is giving it.  We can only hope that the momentum is still on our side come election day.

We have a long way to go.

But, when everyone complains about them not talking about substance and issues, remember... we fight like this, because the stakes are that high.

    Go get 'em!
