Don't listen to the hype. Republicans here are thrilled with Sarah Palin. Even in the midst of sexist attacks, rumors and rumors of rumors she has energized the McCain ticket. I was talking to a major Republican donor yesterday who was not a huge McCain fan before the selection of Governor Palin. She changed his attitude. He was now totally on board with the campaign calling Senator McCain's choice "absolutely brilliant." That is the general attitude among delegates, guests and attendees here in Minnesota. They lover her and are looking forward to hearing her speak this week. Now matter how you look at it, this election is historic.
