BREAKING: Bureau of Elections says RMGN has enough signatures

According to the Bureau of Elections the liberal extremist Reform Michigan Government Now proposal wound up paying folks enough cash to fraudulently collect sufficient signatures to make the ballot.

Still waiting on the ballot language... thirty-six constitutional changes summed up in 100 words.  Stay tuned.  It should be amusing.

we should've been hitting the dems on this the moment it became public... it is up to the courts now, and there is a reason that attorneys don't like to go to trial. Too unpredictable.

And, even if we beat it, Brewer etc. are going to say that the GOP and big business thwarted the will of the people.

And they're gonna get away with it.

I'm sure if this fails, Brewer will hammer the Republicans on it just as I'm sure that if it is approved Republicans will continue to call this a liberal Democrat extremist proposal.  But just as the income tax increase, MBT and service tax could not have been approved without Republican votes and the consent of Republican Senate leadership to move those tax bills, RMGN will over move forward if it is approved by at least one Republican member of the elections board AND the Republican dominated Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.  The next 24 hours will be very interesting.

I'd be running against the fact that your side is gleeful that re-writing the entire constitution and throwing some crumbs out to the voters is "less than half the cost of trying to beat a supreme court justice".

And is "changing the rules of politics in Michigan to help Democrats".

and, winning the old fashioned way is an " extremely espensive and long shot proposition".

And, without this proposal " Michigan DEmocrats will likely not control Michigan State Government between 2011-2021"

And basically not giving a damn about the voters.

And wrapping "reforms" that will accomplish nothing into this, as bait to hoodwink the voters.

How you guys are trying to pull a fast one on the voters is a lot easier to explain than how these reforms will change anything about how the government works.

You are just lucky that no one seems to have the balls to do it.
